What are the advantages and disadvantages of using community answers ofer a forum such as Kunena?

I have Kunena in one of my sites but couldn't see a use for it on my community events site. I really like community answers and would like to know the advantages and disadvantages of using this over a forum?

    Kunena and CA both are completely different, except both allow your community interaction/discussions. Kunena is complete forum software where as CA is Q&A component. You can use CA in places where your users need to get answers for questions, your business needs to clarify your user queries, build a question & answer library for students and the uses are endless.
