i have enabled the bit.ly account, and i created an interconnected app with my twitter account.

i have added the username of bit.ly account and the API key to the menu in community poll configuration panel.

it doesn't work. one more thing is that when it is enabled sometimes the community poll doesn't send the tweets to twitter

tinyurl works fine though. any ideas

once more i have to say that a tutorial would be lifesaving

The new changes in twitter are not known to me till you have reported the problem last week, so tutorial might have no help. Anyway, there is already a post on the same subject though this was not captured in documentation:

I am not sure about bit.ly as I am using tinyurl in most of my projects (which is convenient and I need not enter any keys). I will check that.

after many efforts i have to say that in the third applications menu the bit.ly feature also the "none" option doesn't work. Only the tinyurl works. The point is that if you choose one of them, it doesn't tweet at ALL. So if you want the tweets, you have to choose tinyurl

The bit.ly from my side doesn't work. I am using tinyurl though, which is working properly
