We are pleased to announce the Community Answers latest update v1.5.5 for Joomla 1.5 and v1.6.5 for Joomla 1.6. Over the last one and a half month we have gathered your requests on our tracker along with few planned features for this release.

Overall we have added 17 new features and fixes 6 bugs in this release. It includes few template layout changes as well as functional changes. So please update your template overrides, if any.

We are pleased to announce GPS Tools release v1.5.5(Joomla 1.5) and v1.6.1 (Joomla 1.6). We have fxed a bug related to space in file name causing issues in loading tracks. We have moved few hardcoded language strings to language files.

A new module for GPS tools is released which can display latest and popular tracks with or without tabs (jQuery) and with fully customizable interface.

We are pleased to announce the GPS Tools Joomla 1.6 version with the most stable and fastest GPX parsing engine. In the past few releases there were issues with the large GPX files processing and we have improved the component to address most of such issues. Now the application can process more large files, though extremely bigger files (>2MB) are still not supported.

We have updated the Joomla 1.5 version as well to sync up all enhancements made to joomla 1.6 version and a new version v1.5.4 is released.

NOTE: GPS Tools v1.6.0 and v1.5.4 require latest jQuery plugins (v1.6.1 & v1.5.0 respectively). So you should wait a for little more time if you are using any of the following components till they are updated to support new plugin.

We are pleased to announce the Community Answers v1.5.4 (Joomla 1.5) and v1.6.4(Joomla 1.6) update release. The new release introduces a fresh override template that is fully compatible with the new jQuery plugin and jQuery UI and optimized for both light and dark Joomla templates. Apart from the new template, a number of bug fixes made to make it more stable.

Alert: jQuery plugin v1.5.0 for Joomla 1.5, jQuery plugin v1.6.1 for Joomla 1.6 is required by the new release. However our other products are not yet updated to compatible with those jQuery plugin versions. So if you are using our other products on same site, you may want o wait till they are compatible with the new jQuery plugin version.

We are pleased to announce the first release of Community Crosswords for Joomla 1.6. This is the first evaluation version of crosswords component for Joomla 1.6. The functionality includes everything that is available with the latest Joomla 1.5 version of the component.

Note: We are working on the new features for both Joomla 1.5 and Joomla 1.6 versions and are available with the next stable release.

Over the past few days we are working on making corejoomla extensions more robust and error free and here is another maintainence update to the several extensions.
