german translation for gay and lesbian is correct! But why are those 2 options available in dropdown? In Europe, gender means your biological gender:
- not specified
- male
- femlale
- other
Terms gay and lesbian are related to sexual focus/preferences and not gender, but it could be different in other countries ;)
