As a forum moderator I had reason to remove and trash a topic yesterday. The topic, even when trashed still showed and could be accessed in the latest/trending forum module. The only way to remove it completely was to remove the database entry in PhpMyAdmin.

I'm assuming that when you trash a topic it should automatically be removed from the database tables?
