Hmm... while troubleshooting another issue - I just noticed that SOME of our migrated posts with attachments have migrated with ALL ATTACHMENTS MISSING... 😟
Will send you some details in PM

And you know what?? I SUSPECT that I know the potential cause... I just looked and the two attachments in question are .JPEG ( not .JPG).
Can you please make sure that .JPEG is one of the default image types for CjForums?
We still get a lot of them sent our way ( mostly by MAC users, I think!)

jpeg is already a default image type unless you have some override.
if($params->get('access-download') && in_array($extension, array('jpg', 'jpeg', 'png', 'gif')))
Please note that the migration script will not move any kunena attachments. The files stay in their location and CjForum just use the locations to display them. You can see this in the table xxx_cjforum_attachments.

So, I can override that to allow .PDF attachments? We have a lot of those in the current forum...

the above code is to show the thumbnail for images. PDF attachment is shown as regular attachment. To allow or disallow pdf attachments, use the "Allowed File Types" option in the component options. Below are the default allowed file types shipped with CjForum.

OK! Anyway it's still a bug in the migration, all kunena messages with PDF attachments do not show their PDFs after migration. As well as some image posts.
And a lot of the time where users have attached image files AND embedded the images to display inline, some of them are attached and some are not. (Migration of inline images so that they display inline would be a 'feature request' - nice to have, I'll add it to your request section)
Has migration code been updated in the last couple of weeks? Maybe it's time for me to wipe clean, load our DEV server with latest backup of live site, then install CJforum again from scratch and try another migration?
Or should I wait a while for you to sort through these issues? Please advise, thanks!

As discussed in another post, I need your data at least to see what is there. So far I am blindly guessing and going nowhere. At least data from the table prefix_cjforum_attachments is what is needed along with the ids of rows which are causing issues.
