Category menu items do not seem to work, after a number of hours of trying and clearing the cache. it's only a very simple site, onyl this and jomsocial on it. Might bwe worth mentioning that the commuity answers component is the default home page.

I have been clearing the cache, expired cache, global checkin etc.
The exact same behaviour happens with or without joomla (1.5)'s SEF enabled/disabled.

When I have the menu item as a sub menu item, the home page (ie the parent menu item is restricted to the child menu item's community answers category, and visa versa.

When I have the menu link at the top level of a menu, it creates the correct url ie www.website.com/category but it does not filter the questions, it shows them all.

I dont want to start pushing the website to the search engines until i get the urls right, please help!
