I know, that you're preparing something new and probably module will be reworked as well, but i still want to make a note.
Standard interface behavior tells, that questions count in settings is a GENERAL amount of questions displayed. But in your case this is amount of EACH TYPE of the questions. So if I put 5 items max, it'll be 5 opened + 5 resolved + 5 popular etc.
You either should limit it globally, or make it more obvious. Or even both. Just put more options like "Limit resolved questions", "Limit opened questions", "Global questions limit" etc.
