In the Multiline field, under Customize, there is a field Text Field Max Length which is default to 0. When a number is entered on it, I would assume that it means the Multiline field would only accept the number of characters entered, right? Say I entered 800 so it will only accept 800 characters. But what's happening is, it does not really tell the end user that he/she already exceeded the allowed number of characters. I believe the text is truncated to the number when submitted.
I have complaints about it, saying that after I typed a long text it will just truncate without me knowing.
Do you have any solution for this now? I have 3 running surveys right now. How do I let people know?
