It could be nice to have the possibility to answer to quizzes and surveys in a "step by step" mode,
i mean the next question appear only if the current question is answered.

Maybe it could have the possibility to jump from one question to another without to have to respond to the questions.

This extension take care of many functionalities for playing and setting quiz.

Few more things I would like to add under quiz

- I wish to add image to the quiz

- Some referal link for the respective quiz

- description

- some message to display on result page.

All of these cannot be handled using a single editor used to add description.

So have you extended few more fields for quiz. As some of them are basic ones

Can I give explanations to the the answers after the user has submitted a quiz? That means: The user has to select an answer,a fter submitting now it's displayed this answer was correct or no. Can I display an info box next to to the correct answer, which explains the user, why the answer is correct. Is it possible to display an info box next to the wrong answers, to explain the user, why these are not correct?

this is a feature request.

Recently I came across another site which showed highest potential for community participation. Actually I was anticipating a very good forum integration in v4 of community quiz.

i'm builting a site based on CJforum & Community Quiz.

CJforum is used not only as a forum but first as a the base for the user-profiles and other social features.

i want to assign the user's Rank based on Points, instead of Forum Posts. this way the rank will also be affected by the user activity in Community Quiz (or other apps).

the center of the site is actually the Quizes, and the Forum is only supplemantry, so most of the user activity will be done on the quiz application, and i wish the Rank to reflect that.

is there anyway to do that?

this is a feature request as well as error report.

quiz component 3.5.3 is assigning equal marks to all answers, regardless of correct or incorrect answer.

though it can be corrected manually, it is increasing work on the part of enduser.

Sicne in most quizzes, marking scheme is usually uniform for most of the question, it would be helpful

if,

mark can be assigned in quiz parameters for correct as well as incorrect answers.

this would provide changing marking scheme at once should an user want to change it from , for example from

negative marking to no negative marking or any other variant thereof.

Turning reporting off throws this error in google chrome

I'd like to see if your Community Quiz can do the following in it's Vanilla flavour please?

I need to create let's call it a 'Risk Assessment' which is predominantly question and text based but may need images to explain things but it's essentially a quizz.

Question 1 - With Single Answer and max score of 10

Question 2 - With Multiple Answer and max score of 5

End of Quizz with the following output.

A numerical total score is fine but I need to attach my site's paid services / products names to the questions if that makes sense, so the final output would be something like;

Question 1 scored with 10 total - this means you are advised to choose X service

Question 2 scored with 5 total - this means you are advised to choose Y service

I hope you can understand my methodology above but if not, as this is an incredibly important item I need to find a component solution for, that's as close to the above - please DO ask me anything additional, for you to understand my needs and fingers crossed the above can be delivered with your quizz component.

P.S. I'm wondering if the above requirement, can be served with Conditional states added to each Question, Answer and the overall outcome?

I have created quizzes via frontend view. And when I try to publish/unpublish/trash, it doesn't work with some users.

Also it do not give an error message. It displays "0 items published."

I have 2 users, it works with 1 and not with other.

- it has same user groups 

is there any other setting that I have missed or any other thing?

I'm using Joomla 3.4.8. and community quiz 4.2.1.

is it possible to have central pool of questions in community quiz, a facility already available in community crossword,  so that same question can be used at many quizzes.

or

even more better, user can select questions aleady in database to create their own custom quizzes.

I have purchased the Community Quiz component (I do not understand why I could not select 'Post-Sales' as a category for this query).

When a user Purchases access to a quiz, the information of the person/account is 'saved', and is then sent via email together with the quiz information to an administrator email once the purchased quiz has been submitted. This works as intended. See the example below:

First name: xxx
Last name: xxxxxxxx
Email Address: xxx@ xxxxxxx.co.za
Contact number: xxxxxxxxxx
Country: South Africa
Score: 7/15
Quiz Failed

However: once the user/account logs out and logs back in, and with this new session submits the same quiz, the user/account information is then not sent through via email as it did before. See the example below:

Email Address:

Score: 7/15

Hello, I would like to buy this combonent in behalf of my client and before I do that I want to ask for some special features.

1. Is there any ability for the user who wants to run the quiz, to see the questions mixed up so everytime he sees the questions in another order?
2. Can we put in the quiz 500 hundred or maybe more questions? Is there a limit?
3. Is there the ability when the user finishes the quiz, the combonent to send an email with the results to the administrator and to the user?
4. Can the administrator do a search query with the name of every user and see if he has runned the quiz to the back end of the combonent?

If something from the above questions the combonent doesnt support, how much it costs to put it in custom development?

I have good experience with Plugin "Include Component" . I don't know what insert to syntax.

For example:
