    Aaah. Now I understand how grid poll works. Good. Thanks. New problem. I am logged in CJForum. I created a post with a poll inside. When I send my vote, Polls asks me to register/login. (there is also a message on top of the poll telling me that public do not have access to the results) I did rebuilt the users list of Community Polls. I double checked I am indeed logged (I wouldn't be able to access the post otherwise). I made sure that I have the "vote" rights in the permissions. What else?

    Hi Maverick. Me again but this time for your polls product. So a couple of questions. 1- What is the difference between the plugin "content - polls" and "community polls - polls". Do we need to enable them both? 2- what is the difference between community polls and polls? I see there is a difference with the search plugins. 3- I created a grid poll  (7x3) but I am able to select only two radio buttons at a time. Everytime I click on a third choice, one of the previous choice deselects. I can't find where I can specify the max number of answers for the grid poll.   Thanks.

    Hi Maverick. I could see there is a component "CJForum Personal Messaging". When I created a menu item with it, nothing showed up. Is there a PM system within CJ Fofrum? If yes, how do you enable it? Thanks.

    Oups, sorry, I thought I subscribed to this thread,... Was waiting for your reply. The only customization I have for CJ Forum are the CSS code lines you gave me for the background colors and fonts. But they are in the CSS custom code of the website template: #cj-wrapper * {background-color: black} #cj-wrapper .list-group-item, #cj-wrapper .panel-body, #cj-wrapper .panel-default>.panel-heading, #cj-wrapper .panel-footer {background-color: black; background-image: none} #cj-wrapper .panel-title>a {color: white} #cj-wrapper .multi-column-dropdown li a {color: white;}

    Hi Maverick, So I am still in the same situation regarding this problem. I do not want the author to be displayed under his real first and last name, but only his username. It works in the module (when display name is set to login name under the integration tab), but I can see still the full first/last name of the author in the forum menu item. Secondly, you said there is a bug with easy profile integration as, when displaying the topic, instead of the name or username, you have a strange long string <a href='/websiteadress.ext/index.php/component/jsn/username?Itemid=">First/Last Name</a> I cannot open my forum to other users because of this problem as they will certainly not want their full identity displayed. Btw, the Content-CJForum and User-CJForum are both activated. Please help.

    Well, the forum is here but the page requires a registered account to be able to post a topic. Do you need that?

    Maverick, Would you post some of your magic css code lines to have those part of the forum with white fonts? The default color makes it hardly readable for my template. Thanks.

    OK. Did a few tests: -With permissions in my category set to 'delete enabled' and 'edit state enabled' : I can press the 'trash' icon and the topic is deleted. -With permissions in my category set to 'delete enabled' ad 'edit state disabled': I press the 'trash' icon and I got the message 'Edit state is not permitted' '0 items trashed'.

    Spot on Maverick! (as usual) - Removing the moderation options in the categories allowed me to see my topics again. Problem closed - Ah yes, got it for the ranks. Thanks. - No they were not activated. Now they are. This is good? If I want to trash my own topic, I should have the 'delete' permission enabled or the 'edit own state' enabled? With delete enabled and edit own state disabled, when I press Trash for my topic, I got 'Warning, edit state not permitted', 0 item trashed.

    So I think (or I thought) I got my hands on those viewing access levels in Joomla. But now, unless I am logged as super user, anytime I am creating a post and click on save, I got a 404 error message (page not found) When logged in the backend as SU, I can see the topics I created (when logged as non SU) before clicking on the save button, but they are just not published. What can cause this?  Another question about ranks. I can see there is a rank type by defaut being 'special'. The alternative is 'standard'. Is 'special' related to this defaut 'special' user group? What is the relationship? Do the permissions need to be set a specific way?   Thanks.
