I have couple issues on my system. - When sharing services are enabled than I get jquery errors preventing from voting. Please see the attachment - I have a weird undescribed error notice on voting pages. Likewise, please refer to the other attachment. -

Thank you, that was it. One more question... It seems that I will need to have polls app for ES enabled to get activity streams and this app does not offer a view of my polls and votes in ES profile. Is that right? -

The issue is caused by below code in media/com_communitypolls/js/cj.polls.min.js. I will be removing this in next version. if(poll_type == 'radio' && answers.length > 0 && $.trim(custom_answer).length > 0){ $('#cp-error-message').html($('#error_select_one_answer').html()).parent().show(); return false;} And below code $('input[name="custom_answer"]').change(function(){ if($(this).val().length > 0) { $('input[name="answer"]').prop('checked', false); }}); -

You did not uninstall the package rather uninstalled the component. Just remove all CjBlog plugins. In above case it is CjBlog content plugin. -

Follow this to disable that behavior edit media/com_communitysurveys/js/cj.surveys.min.js and remove below code at line 68 $(document).keypress(function(e) { if(e.which == 13) { e.preventDefault(); $('.survey-navigation button:visible').click(); }}); -

So there must be some javascript conflict, could be because of some of your modules loading jquery improperly. I cannot tell you what exactly the issue unless I see your website. Let me know where can I see it. A quick fix could be disabling tooltips in media/com_communitypolls/js/cj.polls.min.js remove or comment out $('body').on('mouseover', '.tooltip-hover', function(){$(this).tooltip('show');});$('body').on('mouseover', '[data-toggle="tooltip"]', function(){$(this).tooltip('show');}); -

I tested this component out, found it overly complicated to install - why the need for separate cjlib etc? Then decided, after all that it did very little more than core Joomla so uninstalled. It broke and now Joomla core Extensions manager shows : Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required '/home/server/public_html/domain/components/com_cjblog/api.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/php54/pear') in/home/server/public_html/domain/plugins/content/cjblog/cjblog.php on line 17 -

Hej Maverick, there is a Bug in every survey and some of our customer have problems with this. When inadvertently someone klick on the ENTER Button on the Keyboard while there are filling out the Survey, the Survey ends and will be send, so that the customer cannot bring it to the end. Is it possible to make a query so that in this case you have to klick on ok bevore the Survey is send? Kind regards -

1. I believe you are opening file with excel. Most of the times, excel detect csv properly. Otherwise you can use text import wizard to import csv into columns 2. Yes, once you import survey into excel filter out deleted surveys with status column -

Streams in ES used to work for me in the past in previous versions. Presently, despite that I have setup all integration options with Easysocial and installed ES app plg_easysocial_polls I can't find a single evidence of any polls streams in ES. I have installed the latest versions of both programs and testing it on protostar Joomla template. This is on a brand new comunity polls installation. -

I am having problems with the CSV report for survey responses (see attached file). 1. The report has all of the questions and all of the answers given by the respondant in ONE column rather than each question and corresponding answer in an individual column. 2. The report also contains completed surveys that have been deleted. Please help. Mike -

Hi Maverick, I am afraid we have difficulties to understand ourselves.... I understood the difference between "Custom Answer = enable" and "Custom answer = stack answer". The point is that in both cases, I am not able to use either one or the other. HOW TO USE the custom answer? I remind you that i created polls on your demo site (to ensure, issue with custom fileds was not related to my site) where I am not able to use custom answer, again either stack answer mode or not... Thus how to enter own answer in a poll. Again when enterring answer in custom filed and clicking on "vote" I have an error message "filed required".... Than you for your complete answer...
