When I save a poll from the back end the published state changes to published regardless of what the status was set to. This is true for either a new poll or editing a poll.

I then have to manually unpublish it from the listing of polls.

Why is the published setting getting overridden?

I attempted to test this in the demo admin area, but the status (published/unpublished) button is disabled on the demo admin area.

How could I show poll answers in the listing page? Is it also possible to allow voting from the listing page?

I want the user to see the poll results instead of the poll form, after voting. Is this possible?

After testing different things, it seems that custom answers (especially stacking answers) seems not possible for Matrix questions. Is this correct? Or is there any way to achieve this?

I will be embedding my polls in articles (using loadposition syntax)... I have turned OFF the options to hide title in the global config settings and the individual poll settings, but the title still appears on the site. Can you tell me what I might be missing?

I am trying to load a poll into an article by:

{CONTENTPOLL ["id": 8]}

and i am getting:

This site is restored from an akeeba backup from another domain.. If i load a poll created before the restore, then it loads just fine...

Any ideas?

I have a Polls List menu item where users are able to log in and edit polls on the site. When clicking on a poll to view its details, there would typically be results showing and the option to switch between Donut/Bar/Line Chart. However, the results do not display for polls that have been closed. It just has a message saying "Voting is closed for this poll" with no way to view the results. The Donut/Bar/Line Chart buttons are there but don't do anything. I'm able to view results by accessing the poll in the Community Polls component as a Super User in the backend, but I also need to have the ability for other users to see the results on the front-end. How can I make those results accessible?

I am wondering if it is possible to have a poll that is either vote up or vote down with a thumbs up or down?

The user is allowed to make a maximum of one vote.

we have the following settings under "Shared Options":

Maximum Polls = 1

Minimum Description Characters = 0

Vote Expiration (in Minutes) = 0

All Vote Restriction Methodes are selected!

--> Nevertheless, it is possible to make a vote every day

How can you limit it to a vote maximum?

i have a multicheckbox poll with minimum 0 and maximum 2 answer possibilities. Now if you only want to vote for your just added custom value, writing it in the box and click enter without ticking any other value, a little wheel in the vote button starts to turn around, but it does not complete this vote for the user…

In backend the vote seems to count well and after reloading the poll in frontend and viewing the results, it seems to be correct counted too.

Please help me to get the button working in this cas
