Using latest Jomsocial and Community Polls.

In the poll results page in section "voted" all users have default empty avatar instead of jomsocial avatar.

I run a non profit organization that has different associations on it, each of these, need to run their own polls only for their members.

Right now, we use loomio for this, but I would like to facilitate workflow for members (as some are not too computer savvy) and offer an integrated solution.

Community polls is bes toption available, but lacks in this aspect, you can do a secret poll, but that's complicate to mantain for every votation and easy to lose.

You can make a category with acl availabe just to usergrup, but the poll is still available for anyone if they know the url (not sure if it would appear in related)

Best approach (in my case as we use jomsocial to handle gorups) would be to integrate with jomsocial groups, as kunena already does making subforums with acl just for the parent jomsocial group, but using joomla usergruops is fine too, but not having to modify each poll configuration, if I make a category for a "private" usergroup, polls inside of it should be too...

Just get the community polls, and I already have several problems....

1. When creating a button calling the component's action " create poll " set up for those who would category and access via frontend get the message that I'm not allowed to access this content...

2. Clicking on the backend on the button " Create New Survey " it directs to a blank page....

3. By clicking on email templates (any model ) I am also directed to a blank page .

4. By clicking on Advanced search page that appears is in fully unconfigured native html .

Please ask already solution to these issues as overpaid by component and installing 'm already having simple problems that come close to the ridiculous for such an expensive component.

I have a new issue regarding the menu items. The problem is as follows:

I need to have menu items of the type Community Polls Category (having the same category selected) in two different menus. The second menu is needed because we include part of the site in an mobile app, and the content has to be the same, but with different styling. The problem I encounter is that only the last created menu item is used.

For example: if you access this page and then click on Vote you will be directed to the category from the site menu. If I click on a poll however the path leads to the app version (which is the one I created last). Basically the path should be...index.php/en/toolkit/ireland-school/ireland-parent-polls-st/36-dhdrrg but it's ...index.php/en/toolkit-app/ireland-school-app/ireland-parent-polls-st-app/36-dhdrrg

Am I doing something wrong, is there a bug or what I'm trying to achieve is just not possible?

If i vote for an existing point, it shows me the correct results immediately. BUT if i am adding a custom value, it shows me the results without the custom value at all. Only after going again to the polls result, it shows the correct results including the new custom value with one vote.

I am trying to make community poll work but I am stuck. Everytime I click "Vote Now" the cursor spins, and nothing happens. It spins indefinitely, without registering the vote. It will stay there until you click another link or refresh the page. I thought it was my template, so I did everything again on another site without my template or other modules, but the problem persists.

We purchased the community poll component about two weeks ago, installed and configured on our internal news website. Our users are finding it difficult to submit the poll answers as the spinner keeps spinning and form poll not submitting at all.

I need to add a button in edit article view, in order to allow user ta add a poll into an article while he/she is creating an article.

I try to do so by using a modal window, which will embed the view components/com_communitypolls/views/form/tmpl/edit.php

Currently I copied the file edit.php to edit-in-modal.php and I try to play with this..

I discover there is modal view: administrator/components/com_communitypolls/views/poll/tmpl/modal.php

What is this view aimed at? From where can we access it (from admin panels?)?

Can I use it as an example for my need?

I have two polls setup on the homepage, a Local News Poll (setup to display the latest poll in Local News Poll category as setup in Categories) and a Local Sports Poll (setup to display the latest poll in Local Sports Poll category as setup in categories). Each module has their own redirect URL as placed in the module. However, only the Local News Poll module redirects to the Local News Poll Results page properly. The Local Sports Poll module redirects to the Local News Poll Results page.

I would appreciate any suggestions you might have to help me fix this. Thank you in advance.

hello, having an issue with the polls category module...i have a category set and all of the polls inside of the category that the module is set to display are set to public.  So far everything else is working fine.  the other poll modules are working...the component is working well so im assuming either im overlooking something or there is a minor bug in the modules code.  any ideas?  thanks

Hi, i am interested for the poll extension.

I want to create multiple different polls with multiple modules,

with 1 vote in some polls and more votes in other polls,

members to be able to change votes during the poll,

admin to be able to add more items during the pool

ip and cookie check for no double voting with different profiles and

choose the groups that they can vote.

I want to create graphs of the pole on the side bar ,

or if it is possible code to add it inside Kunena forum topic

No matter what I do, it always displays the following error on submission:

Is this a bug?

Is there a way to add previous and next button to the poll view page? So the users goes to the next poll he or she is autorized to?

I just upgraded to the new cjlib, and it has now caused my initial page load to hang for exactly 21 sec. (21.02 to be exact) when Community polls is enabled. This just began after todays CJLib update.

When I inspect the network on page load the culprit is: https://ajax.aspnetcdn.com/ajax/jquery.validate/1.13.1/jquery.validate.min.js 

I am on a secure corporate Intranet behind a firewall and this link is blocked. Ultimately the link times out (ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT) causing the page to hang way too long on page load. 

Disabling the Poll module from my home page temporarily removes this jquery script call, and the problem no longer exists. Could you possibly repackage the update with that .js file included in the update? Or a workaround? If you can tell me which page that call is on, i can change the path to a local copy of it or to Googles hosted js.
