I installed the new version of Community Polls in a converted 3.4.8 site having used it previously in an old version of the site on 2.5 but am having trouble getting the polls to show using the plugin:

all return "undefined" for the polls.

I checked the anywhere.js file and it's pointing to the correct domain. The content plugin is published and the polls have been published and show up fine. Each poll is included in a menu item as well.

I've got to be doing something wrong but can't seem to spot it.

I have a big problem for me. For the profis maybe a little.
When I go to bootstrap all charts in the polls indicated,
but some things are in my tamplate no longer in the right place.
For example, the search button on the top right

I disable bootstrap all graphs away ..

Sir I have many Issue with community Polls

1- user part : once click at rebuild it will retrive user data again and again and again so I have same user repated many times.

2- Category I use multi language Arabic and English, for the arabic polls I can't se the arabic categories to select.

3- RTL how to apply the RTL to my polls at front end with the arabic polls all aligned to left.

i've just installed the latest version of community polls (afcourse with the CJiLIB Component).

everything is OK except i can't create new polls.

the problem is that the "save" button doesn't work. both on front-end and on back-end.

the "cancel" button IS working.

from reading related threads on the forum, i'm guessing it's a problem related to JS (i'm not a proggramer so i can't find this one out on my own).

i'm using both the latest versions of CP and Joomla, cloudbase3 template.

can you pleas advise? for now i can't create any new polls on the site, meaning i can't use CP.

I am trying to hide the Author and Category. It wont let me. I have already turned them off in the options.

I have created a new poll for registered users of our website. Have successfully voted and used the Vote button.

When gone into the poll again, all the options are listed as before but no vote button. The last part is fine as would not want users to vote again!

Instead of seeing all the options, is there a way instead to say, “Thank you, you have already voted in this poll” or something similar?

We Are looking for a Poll that can ask a user that filled in a Poll like the scheme below.

Users vote YES noting happens vote just got added to the statistics

Users vote NO - they get a form the need to fill in why the vote NO and what we can improve to make them happy. If the form is filled in the NO will be added to the statistics and the admins get an overview / email of the answers.

Is there something in the plugin that can trigger this event? or is there a combination of the Commuty Polls plug in and Serveys plugin ?

 I hope you guys have it build in or can make it happen.

we just got community pools : it sounds OK (fonctionaly speaking) to perform what we need to do.

However, after testing, I have 2 issues :

1/ I have noticed that if someone was allowedto vote for an election, he had the possibility to vote as many time as he wanted. Is there any way to restrict the number of ballots one can forecast ? In another way : I need the voters to be allowed to vote once and only once.

2/ I have not found how to automatically notify by mail voters that they where they where called to vote (aka : I would like a mass mail to be sent to call voters when I publish a new poll).

Note that I work under joomla 3.7.1 with php7 and I use community builder.

i am trying to use community polls categories module... i would like to display my ComPolls categories!

However when i am trying to edit the module, i can see Joomla content categories! If i publish the module i am getting an internal server error!

So, WHAT is the USE of this module? What kind of categories does it display?

I placed community polls categories module on right sidebar. I choosed a category with subcategories. However, I can't see an category in this module. It is completely empty. While I can see categories in the community polls component. What is going wrong with that?

Sorry for the inconvenience but we face some issues that we cannot explain ourselves how these arose. It seems that community polls crashed from the one minute to the other. We distinguish these issues into two categories:

1. If you go to create a new poll you receive an error 500 but the poll is submitted correctly. Please create a poll using the test user:

login at: penaltara.com

username: giorgos

password: giorgos

and then create a poll at the following link:

2. If we go to vote into an extisting poll, the system stucks on the gear that shows the progression of the procedure in order to count the vote and the page stays idle. Although that the vote is counted normally the page stays idle i.e. it does not redirect to the poll results. This does not work for both the component and the module. Please vote on the following poll:

My survey was perfectly working with conditional rules. I changed some description and the conditional rules stopped to work. I cancelled all questions and I inserted them again.. but no way. There is somethig I can do? thanks really a lot. Fabio
