I am glad to hear this.  When Can we expect the new plugin? I cannot develop one on my own. So I will wait for yours to complete my project. Can I expect that in the next few days? Thanks a lot for your assistance on this.  Bignon

    That's cool. You can use anywhere code to achieve this. 1. In your stream, insert anywhere code for example {CONTENTPOLL ["id": POLLID]}2. Now develop a plugin with  the onPrepareStream event and parse this code Anyway, I will develop a new plugin to handle this.

    Hi Maverick: I check with the easysocial team and it looks like it possible to load custom javascript in the stream notification. this is their reply: May i know are you building your custom app in Easysocial? If yes, there should have one function call onPrepareStream, so you can insert what script you would like to add on, so it will load the script on your stream post. You can use following Joomla API e.g.
JFactory::getDocument()->addScript("http://www.example.com/js/myscript.js"
Or
JFactory::getDocument()->addScriptDeclaration();
Can you please assist me in implementing this? Cordially, Bignon

    Can this be done with JomSocial? I might consider switching to jomsocial if possible, because I need this feature.

    Just to clarify a little bit, I want that the poll and the questions (see attached Picture) be displayed in the stream along with the notification

    Thanks a lot for your help. It worked, at least partially.  what I noticed is that when the user publishes a new poll, only the notification appears in his stream. I want the actual poll (question and answer choices) to appear in the stream so that other user can vote on the pool without leaving the page. How can I do that?  Thanks.

    HELLO: I just bought the one year subscription for community poll believing that it integrates with easysocial, but apparently, it does not. How can integrate this component with easysocial. I do not intend to use community poll as a stand alone component.  thanks for your help.
