Joomla always search layouts in following order. from my localhost debugging: Layout: default.toolbar Include Paths: Array ( [0] => D:\xampp\htdocs\j3\templates/protostar/html/layouts/com_communityanswers [1] => D:\xampp\htdocs\j3/components/com_communityanswers/layouts [2] => D:\xampp\htdocs\j3\templates/protostar/html/layouts [3] => D:\xampp\htdocs\j3/layouts ) -

I understood this. If I drop the changes, we made, in "com_communityanswers/layouts/default/..." all is fine and working. If I drop it in "mytemplate/layouts/" or "mytemplate/html/" in many combinations like "com_communityanswers/layouts/default/..." or "com_communityanswers/default/..." or "com_communityanswers/..." or or or We tried all possible combinations and in our full desparation we tried it with views, too.We tried it partially (only the affected blocks) and complete.We tried it with Voodoo, Prayers and Hope. We don't get the template overrides running. We made template overrides for com_search, mod_breadcrumbs, mod_finder, mod_search, com_config, com_content, com_osmembership (metadata tab) and many more. All are working fine. The only one, we have really problems is this one. Any help is welcome. We don't like to edit the corefiles, if it isn't absolute necessary. Thanks, Jürgen -

Hi all, I have just bought this component - it's looking pretty great, so far! - but I'm having some trouble including it into an article. I'm using Joomla 3.5.1, and after some trouble I've been able to use J3.5's native module inclusion functionality to bring a survey into a this page: https://covtr.acbo.education/test. Two weird things are happening, though: If I am not logged in, clicking "Start survey" just leaves me hanging with the "please wait" message. If I AM logged in, "Start Survey" displays the survey questions, but when I fill them out - "please wait" again. Is there something that I'm missing? This survey will eventually need to be Registered-only, but right now the article, module and survey are all Public, the module is set to appear on all menu items, and everything else (as far as I'm aware) is set properly. If I just display the survey as a menu item, it all works without a problem. Thank you in advance for any help you can offer! -- Nathan -

Okey the Survey can add new now, but the Main Question still not answered, to view more than 5 for Text Survey still no have link to see all in report viewCan you please take alook? -

I assume that it is not part of the current release, as I did not see the module available in my admin. I downloaded the Github code, and attempted an update, it appeared to update the extenstion, but I still do not see the module available. How would I go about properly upgrading so that I can make this available. Thanks much for your help. So far I really like the functionality of this extention. the ability to have a monthly archive would be the only part I need to make it perfect. -

I wrote it in my previous post. There is no single file for entire page. The page splits into different blocks - question details, reply, attachments, comments, reply form etc -

Thank you for pointing out that. We have dozens of template overrides implemented, the only one we don't get work is an override for com_communityanswers/layout/default/question/details.php Please, could you write down the exact path, just to clarify the situation. Many thanks! -

Nowhere it is set. Most probably your mootools library is setting it. -

where this "display: none" style is set? in which file it exist and why it sets display: none for elements? -

Question details page will not load mootools as it don't use it. Please check if any of the module published on that page is loading them. You can try disabling one by one and see which module causing issue. -

That menu item was accidentally included in the package. I had developed PM system but I was not satisfied with it and hence not included in the component. I am working on alternate design. -

also commenting on a reply and other options which needs a click to show and enable does not work when mootools-more is disabled. -

when mootools-more is enabled , a display:none style will set on the element And if I disable mootools-more , This problem will solve but the TAG field in submiting questions and file attachment does not work. -

Hi Maverick. I could see there is a component "CJForum Personal Messaging". When I created a menu item with it, nothing showed up. Is there a PM system within CJ Fofrum? If yes, how do you enable it? Thanks.
