    Do you think I need do a fresh installation? Because i think the issue has got to do with my initial installation. I followed your instructions and created a form menu item alias for article submission & it worked well but still cant get a user proile to display at the frontend. Also noticed some issues E.G icons like articles rating stars, favourte button and edit button all disappear on mouseover.

    I assume that it should work as you confirmed that this feature exists in surveys extension. However, I was not able to identify a single stream in ES yet.  What condition generates activity stream?

Mav, Yes I agree with you r.e. the test environment but personally at this point I just unfortunately don't have the time to carry that out too but will in future when things calm down a bit. I will send you the login information via your 'Contact Us' as previously done. I will wait to hear from you in due course. Regards,

    Then it must be some plugin which is denying the request to go through the component. I suspect Admin Tools which has some security functions builtin and can cause issues (false positives). Or may be you know better than me of any other such plugins you use.

    Hello Maverick! I have discussed the issue of the Magic Quotes with our programmers and they have assured me that Magic Quotes is indeed disabled.  Here is a screenshot of when I try to save with the answer of: TotW: Bloatware is Annoying, Here’s How to Delete it from Your Android Device http://prntscr.com/7vay17  I am also going to test this outside of our network to see if that may be causing the problem - but as of right now that one answer still refuses to save no matter what I try to do.  Thanks! -Donna

Mav, I waited for as long as I could but then figured we'd both need to sleep no doubt lol, so I had no choice but to disable it for the period while I wasn't around to deal with any people trying to take the survey and wouldn't be able to. Let me know here as soon as you're ready to look and I will enable it and you can take a look and then I can disable it again temporarily until I can find the fix. :) Regards,

    Found where the issue is. Here is a quick fix without doing much code changes. Edit components/com_communityquiz/helpers/helper.php and find return $editor->display($name, $content, $width, $height, $cols, $rows, $buttons, $id); change it to return $editor->display($name, $content, $width, $height, $cols, $rows, true, $id);

    Yes, restricted by IP-Address, Cookies and User. But removing them does not solve the problem.

Mav,   Thanks for the reply and the clarification above. I indeed decided to purchase and download the small fee but compatible with both new and older browser captcha plugin and I've installed it. I now have it set in Global Config as the sites default captcha, it is showing in my sites Registration page, my contact script tabs but it won't show on my surveys intro page. I'm sure I had this problem before and I can't for the life of me think how I managed to get Joomla's in built Google recaptcha. It is here... and you will need to click the Continue button to see it's there but hidden and returns the "Invalid captcha entered. error Regards, Rob

    Hi Mav, I have had a couple of respondents email me to say they are stuck at the start page, where the Google Recaptcha 'I'm not a robot' is just spinning round. They advised me they were using IE 8 and 9 (All of my respondents will be using workplace computers and unfortunately part of the security prob of the world and net at large, is that company's don't upgrade to latest versions quick enough. Therefore I can't ignore their disgruntledness to not being able to take the survey. I then ran the start page in IE 8 and 9 and confirmed it does indeed just spin and not load the pictures part and hence they can't move on. However, I really don't fancy NOT having a captcha present as I need to reduce any risks to the quality of this surveys data, from the like of spam bots etc. Therefore, I notice in CSurveys 'Options' you can turn off the recaptcha but cannot select another 3rd party installed one. I have found this one and asked if it's compatible with IE 8 and 9 and indeed it is: https://idealextensions.com/joomla-extensions/securimage-captcha-plugin.html So is there any quick hack I can do to your extension, that would enable me to place this developers plugin in place of the google recaptcha on your surveys first page. See it here... I look forward to hearing from you. Regards, Rob

    Maverick wrote: You are using Survey form module. These buttons are shown in the component only. Use menu item to point to the surveys home page. If you are using private survey, create external url menu item with unique survey url. If you recall, I had some big problems when I was initially setting up this extension to run from a menu item and whilst we've now fixed those errors that were being produced, the survey is now live and I don't want to change things again in this way midway through from people responding to the survey. I note your explanation though and it will help me go back to menu item form of survey link, when i run any future one's from my site. Thanks,

    Maverick wrote: The page name was designed only for a unique identifier on few users request but never considered for shown on front-end. But yes, its a good idea to show it on front-end. I will add this feature in next revision. However you still can get such behavior using the page header question. Page header question type simply display title and description, nothing else. Maverick,   Sorted, I used the page header you mention above. Thanks.   Regards,
