Seems like I can't add any archive with the edit of a post. I just realised it after writing my last post. Sorry for the Spam. Here is the file.

So I tried to write my own plugin for you extension. Sounds quite easy in the documentation but I just didn't get it to do anything. I suppose that the trigger isn't fired after saving the response.  I copied your example code and made an installer.xml and the plugin is installed without problems. To rule out the obvisious mistakes: It's also activated.  Did I forget to load any helper or other database-operators or do I have to trigger the "onResponseAfterSave"-element anyhow? And I don't know when the code is inserted. Before the pageload? I attached my example php-file.

Hi there, I've been looking for a way to send reports or thank-you-mails to the users that took the survey after completing. (Even the ones that aren't registred at the site but entered an email-adress in the survey) Is there a way to do so? Maybe you can add a email-template which can read a specific field out of the survey (maybe by id or name of the field with a placeholder) and add a script that triggers an email-send-event after the survey is completed and written to the database? As soon as I know there should be already an event for the mail to the survey-owner. And in case it works: it would be very helpful if I could add other data from the survey to the mail (e.g. the surveykey or some answers that were given). Just to know: I wrote a skript that evaluates the data out of a survey and renders some charts. To show the results to the user he needs the survey-key and I haven't figured out a way to get them the key automatically. Best Regards

  • Matthias Bartels created new topic Custom CSS for Page Headers and Tags in Title.

    February 26 at 6:29 pm

Hi there, how about a Custom CSS Field not only for the questions but also for the Page Headers? Whould be a great addition to customise the layout of your component further and sort questions under some topics on one page. And another idea is to allow using breaks (<br>), <b>- and <i>- Tags in the title. In my case I need it to seperate some questions that sounds nearly the same, but the meaning is changed by one word, so that the user is likely to be confused. Regards

  • Matthias Bartels created new topic Problem with conditional fields and dropdowns.

    February 4 at 6:51 pm

Hi there, I got the newest version of your Community Survey extension for Joomla and experienced some problems: 1. The conditional fields are working fine on the first page of my survey, but not on the third one. Seems like the "hideme"-class isn't added to the panel element, so the question is always shown. Is this a known bug and are there any solutions to this? 2. The Dropdowns are kind of behind the next panel-element. So the choices are mostly hidden, what's kind of a big problem. Maybe there is a problem with the z-index? Thanks in advance for looking into this.
