Mav, That is incredibly weird, as yesterday I noticed / twigged the same incorrect alias naming, so I deleted the about_organisation and emptied the trash can that ended up in, then created a new easyprofile about-us... to then find via you looking through it, that about_organisation was still in place when ... oh well, I must be going mad. Thanks anyway, I've stuck with about_organisation and that element of it now works. Regards,

OK Mav, thanks for that and as that's the case - I will likely take this issue back to the template provider to start with and rule any aspect from their template out, before taking to the joomla community. Regards,

Hi Mav, I have searched the forum and saw this thread https://www.corejoomla.com/forum/support/cjblog/14898-error-1054-cjblog-easyprofile.html which seems it's the same error that I'm getting but I have carried out the settings you mention but still get the same error. I even setup an 'About' field in EasyProfile and included this within the config settings, as per attached screenshot. What am I doing wrong, as it makes sense for me to use Easyprofile as I'm already using this for my whole registration, login, membership pro features and it just seems right I use it for cjBlog too? If you need to login to take a look in the backend, please use the same details sent through a few hours ago to your 'Contact Us' from the email address that is attached to this CoreJoomla account. I installed the one you sent through to me last Mav but when I had it integrated, it was not showing in the position it was set and the module was giving an error, so for now I've reverted back to your first archive module version. I will send you admin user access via your contact page, if you can install the second version, empty site cache *nonumber button in bottom of admin pages* and then clear your browsers cache and reload to see the changes, I'll be very surprised if the second version doesn't present the same module position error issue. Let me know how you get on. Regards,

I did that Mav but only on the specific cjblog blog menu pages, as of course I don't want that header showing on ANY non blog system pages.

Hi Mav, As I'm working through setting up the structure of my blog that's also utilising the cjBlog component. modules and plugins; I'm seeing a problem with my templates 'Category Blog Header' that I'm using, based on Gantry5 Particle for the header and it works just fine and as expected on the blogs front page See Here... but then for e.g. the Blog Article Latest See Here... are blank black background header and the 'aside' position that has the 'archive' module is made smaller in the width. Also  if you look at the header bar of cjBlogs for say Categories among others in that bar See Here... the blog header completely goes missing and I cannot see why cjblog won't show. I've gone through my templates assignments, etc and it just doesn't jump out at me how I can't get ALL blog pages irrespective of where they're served from component, module or plugin wise; to all be consistent. Any guidnace on the above would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance Mav. Regards,

Hi Mav, I just thought that I'd let you know that I'm just setting the Alternative Layout & Module Class Suffix 'title1' but neither are retained / remembered when I hit the save button but in the new archive mod you have just done for me / the community, that DOES retain module class suffix of 'title1' no problem upon saving. Mav,   That's great and it's installed here: https://www.isknow.how/iskh-blog However, the archive lists 2013 and 2015 and 2016 when I only have one article added for category i skh blog at present and I will only be using the one article category to attach for my blog... Therefore, I only want it to archive and list the one specific blog category not them all please? Regards,

I will upload the module to downloads section with next revision. Sterling work Maverick, much appreciated indeed. However, I've never used github to locate / download code changes etc, so could you please let me know when you maybe release the updated version of cjBlog; that will include the module for showing article archive by month.   Or in this following page; https://github.com/corejoomla/cjblog/commit/97b67343933946254d2f87a07ddc887befd19a9c Do I only need to add to the /models/articles.php file the lines that are highlighted green in the above URL on github, 124-136 and then that should do it? The only concern with the above route, is with it being a core hack by adding lines to a set core file; when you do future cjblog updates, I have to remember I made this month to month blog archive change. I will await your guidance further on this matter but thanks as always Mav. Regards,

Hi,    I've just installed and began configuring cjblog on a new site and I would like to as with most blogging systems, offer the end-users the ability to have a module that lists months January to December and then my blog category articles, will be archived in to this module and listed in the correct month. I can't seem to locate any mention of this in your forum, documentation or online yet it's a stable normal expected part of any blog? I look forward to hearing from you in due course. Regards,

Maverick wrote: Thanks for confirmation. Yes, I do thought of the same option after going through this thread. It would be easy for anyone to have an option to switch between all or completed responses for consolidated report. I think that would be great for the end users of your component and also for your component itself going forward Mav. While I think on, another future idea, would be where the pages that are set in the actual survey backend, whether with page headings or not, when the consolidated results are created - it would be much more concise and if you take the size of my survey and the resulting consolidated results page... it's HUGE as in length... to have pagination in the consolidated results page, that follows the exact same setup as the backend page setup would be awesome too... just some thoughts anyway. Thanks once again, I best start analysing my survey results and not gassing here. ;) Take Care,

Maverick wrote: Yes. this is what you needed for the consolidated report. Mav, PERFECTION - my consolidated report now just shows 34 total responses, which is correct in that I had 34 'Completed Responses' and the bar chart and pie charts on EVERY question just show the makeup of the 34 responses. I have to say, your survey software is brilliant Maverick but if there was just one usability concern that I'd like to put forward - possibly for you to see how viable / difficult to build into a future; Build in an option, where the person installing your component in their Joomla site, is given a option whether to include the 'Pending Responses & Completed Responses' within their 'Consolidated Report' or indeed like I needed it to be, only to include the 'Completed Responses' - which is now how I have it thanks to your kind help with the file code hack above. Brilliant, I feel elated now I can analyse the data in the manner it required, with no results skewed as far as external readers of the data would've been concerned. I will undoubtedly be doing future surveys on my site post Academic, and will make use of your software again. Take Care and have a great rest of the week Maverick. Regards,

Maverick wrote: All right, here is the final query all you need to build only completed responses details in your consolidated report.  Edit components/com_communitysurveys/models/survey.php and find at line 3510 $query = ' select question_id, answer_id, column_id, count(*) as votes from #__survey_response_details where question_id in (select id from #__survey_questions where survey_id='.$id.') and group by answer_id, column_id order by question_id'; Change it to $query = ' select question_id, answer_id, column_id, count(*) as votes from #__survey_response_details where response_id in (select r.id from #__survey_responses r where r.survey_id='.$id.' and r.completed > r.created) and (answer_id > 0 or column_id > 0) group by answer_id, column_id order by question_id'; There is no way another responses will come into your report except the completed responses. I will make a full site and database backup before I proceed, thanks Maverick - now my survey has finally closed for good, just to clarify before I was to go ahead and do the above file hack... I DON'T need to do any of the previous database sql runs or anything, just the hack you mention in your last post? Thanks once again, it's much appreciated. Regards,

Maverick wrote: If I count total number of votes for each answer in your first question then it shows the correct number. So I can't think of anything wrong in that. You can find and delete the response details which are not belong to the 18 responses given by the users with the following sqls. (please make sure only 18 rows in xxx_survey_responses table, otherwise what you are saying about "only 18 completed responses exist" goes somewhere wrong) Check if there are any rows: select * from xxx_survey_response_details where response_id not in (select id from xxx_survey_responses where survey_id = YOURSURVEYID) If any, delete them as these are somehow not deleted when you deleted responses (if any): delete from xxx_survey_response_details where response_id not in (select id from xxx_survey_responses where survey_id = YOURSURVEYID) Do this if you have only one survey as I have not added check for multiple surveys above. Maverick, It's coming nearly to the close of my survey Weds 29th July midday GMT) and I will have to start documenting the findings and analysing the data straight after the closure of the survey tomorrow. I still feel you and I are a way apart on understanding the nature of my issue but that's ok it happens, I will try to explain it one last time and see if we can meet in the middle with a solution, that I desperately need... you could even say for my future, as if this doesn't work out with how I need it to, my dissertation won't be worth the paper it's written on and I've put way too much work into it. I'm attaching a screenshot I made with a few annotations to try and help the understanding between us both. So, as I extended the survey from yesterday Monday 27th July, as I felt there weren't enough 'Completed Respondents', currently as it stands there are NOW 33 'Completed Respondents' - Although in the 'Consolidated Results' currently, the 'Total Responses' range from currently between 52 and 33 throughout the consolidated results page. I appreciate what you said previously about why you include both 'Pending - Those who didn't complete the survey' and 'Completed - Those who did complete the survey', which I understand is what makes the 'Total Responses' figure but the problem for me is the inclusion of the 'Pending' one's throughout the extension. The reason they're a real problem for my survey is that also in the 'Consolidated Results' page, the pie charts to the right hand side, as well as the horizontal bar charts underneath the questions and answers, of which I plan to use a mixture of both in my dissertation report as part of the analysis of the returned data; is INCLUDING the 'Pending Results' and hence is skewing the data and my ability to actually use the survey closed results in my report. Once my survey closes in a little over 13 hours time, I need to ask you if there's any way at all that we can work together, to be able to fully remove the 'ALL Pending Results' from the Final 'Consolidated Results' in the 'Total Responses', leaving JUST the 'Completed Responses (Only those that fully completed the survey) which would then show in both the horizontal bar charts and pie charts throughout the above linked 'Consolidated Results' page. If the above can fingers crossed be achieved, I can most definitely relax and make use of the data from the survey in my University Report. I look forward to hearing from you, hopefully soon and will say a prayer this evening I think. Regards,

Maverick wrote: Ahh, ok got you what you are saying. Sorry for the misunderstanding. So you are asking for the number that you see below each question. Sorry abou the confusion. Thats a language error. it should read "Total votes" or "Total answers" instead of "Total responses" because it is the total number of answers given on that question. And since multiple choice questions have multiple answers selectable, the count will vary. So what the component displays is correct except the misleading language string. "Total Responses" is something applicable on entire report as the number of responses will not vary on question to question basis. To avoid confusion change the language string itself instead of changing any other code (languages/en-GB/en-GB.com_communitysurveys.ini). LBL_TOTAL_RESPONSES="Total responses" Mav, Thanks for the language string change, much appreciated and I will do that shortly. However, I still think we're not fully understanding each other, so I will try and explain with just the very first question in my survey. If you go to: Survey Results and you will see the very first question is about "How many persons does your Organisation employ?" As it says, there are 30 results - however the language labels it, there's still 30 in the system according to that. Then if you look at the pie chart result directly to the right hand side and hover over the various sections of the 'Pie', these also total 30. However, and this is the critical part one this first question for example in my survey doesn't have multiple choices that you allude to in your last reply, so why would it not say 18 responses and instead is saying 30. I can't having it saying 30 on the finished consolidated results, as current for e.g. I only have 18 and hence the pie charts have to correlate - be factful etc. I have cleaned various areas of the component backend, database as I've spoken about in previous posts above but something somewhere it STILL logging there been more actual true results than there should be... I only have 18 confirmed respondents and NONE pending. Regards,

Maverick wrote: Pending responses can be viewed from the "View All Responses" link in your reports dashboard page. These are the responses users started entering but have not yet completed. You can see the status icon on that page. There is one possible solution to show only completed responses results in consolidated report by modifying code. But I feel its good to include everything. Users are already gave answers but some or the other reasons they forgot clicking finish button. So I believe it should include all. Hi Mav,   Thanks for the reply. I have looked there and it has 18, again that's what I want in that sense but I CANNOT have the varying 'total responses' which you say include those who people haven't completed (more than likely when I was testing submissions before putting the survey fully live to respondents) as this will completely skew my academic dissertation report, of which I plan to utilise the 'Consolidated Report' to form the full bulk of my survey results. In the consolidated results page - the 'Total Responses' per question which is what's bugging me at present as for me it's the wrong figure I need, they do seem to correlate to the pie charts % and number of responses. Therefore, can you work with me please to carry out said hack to show 'Only completed responses in the consolidated report', it would be very much appreciated, as I'm 24 hours away from being able to start the survey results write-up, yet academically the figures are not currently tallying, which is why I'm seemingly being picky. I can provide you with temporary phpmyadmin access should it be required, I will make a full site and database backup prior to this, just in case there's a need to roll back. If it wasn't for my dissertation, I wouldn't mind but it has to be as right as possible in this instance? I look forward to hearing from you. Regards,

Maverick wrote: There are two things you need to consider. 1. Completed responses2. Pending responses The count shown in your screenshot is total responses as there is no way to separate completed to the pending responses. But you can check status of each response in responses list page on the reports section. So I guess you can easily find where these extra responses came from. Mav,   How can I located the 'Pending'responses you speak of then please? If you look at the new screenshot, all 18 of my expected responses that I ONLY want showing in the pie charts etc in the consolidated results, you will note that ALL 18 are ticked as 'Completed' and not pending?
