So I tried to write my own plugin for you extension. Sounds quite easy in the documentation but I just didn't get it to do anything. I suppose that the trigger isn't fired after saving the response. I copied your example code and made an installer.xml and the plugin is installed without problems. To rule out the obvisious mistakes: It's also activated. Did I forget to load any helper or other database-operators or do I have to trigger the "onResponseAfterSave"-element anyhow? And I don't know when the code is inserted. Before the pageload? I attached my example php-file. -

Hello Maverick, thank you very much for the quick reply. I tried everything again reinstalled. Now I tested your quiz on the new Joomla 3.5. I wondered if it is not better. But it's not. All bugs are the same. In addition to the the bugs which I wrote yesterday, I've got also other bug: 1) When I added a new question from the frontend - is working "Your question here ...". When I added a new question from the backend, "Your question here ..." does not work. I have to save the quiz and then it works. Is it right? Please look also to my answers in this thread. in the View consolidated report i have great view for single selection report, but for Text like suggestion from cutomer, it only view 5 at the times, i have 115 respond it only show 5 from 115 respond, How do i show all 115 respond ?Attachment is View consolidated report on Text report not show all respond only 5 selected. -

Edit your survey and click on Survey Content tab. You should see two boxes to fill description and end messge. -

Hi Maverick, Thank you very much for your answer. Unfortunately it does not work. 1) In the basic options (item quiz) I have set Disable "Show intro". I checked phpMyAdmin table quiz_quizzes. Here it is set to "show_intro":"0". And it does not work.Moreover, it seems that it does not work more. 2) If I want to start the quiz again, I have a warning: "You have already responded to this quiz". In the basic options (item quiz) I have setup Yes - "Allow Multiple Responses". I checked phpMyAdmin table quiz_quizzes. Here it is set to "multiple responses": "1". Still not working it ... :( 3) In the Global Configuration is not option "Allow Multiple Responses", "Show intro", "Show Template" and more. In the Basic option tab (item quiz) is the choice "Use global". But there is not ... I must for a each quiz set "Allow Multiple Responses", "Show intro", "Show Template" and more? Why is in the Basic option (item quiz) the choice "Use global", when here is not?4) I addet the quiz from the frontend. But quiz is displeyed without template. Until after a desperate testing, I found it to be set from the frontend "Show Template - show". Again, there is the possibility to use "Use global", but in the Global Configuration, this option is not. I do not understand it ... Why is this option in the Global Configuration? I have here other bugs :(Your the quiz is great, but the setting is working very poorly or not at all. There's a lot of bugs. I have installed version 4.0.0. Quiz he bought some time ago, but I installed it until now. Wow.. it is not the question of who is owning the content. At the end whoever sends it is some plain text or html content. And at the end such text can be processed by a content plugin. These are the reasons why I cannot process content plugins. 1. When I push html content, its just html content. For example if I want to add some javascript file when it is executing, I cannot do this at runtime because ES will show content not the plugin. In your case you need to add some youtube javascript code and probably load some javascript files etc. 2. If ES accept whatever the js code I send and display it then it is a security issue. You should usually show only safe html. The task of protecting and displaying data will become increasingly difficult at two levels one at my side and other at ES side. I always send safe html and no js. -

Dear Mav, We have contacted the ES support. We just asked them "Does EasySocial support content plugins?" and we received the following answer: "These are actually being rendered by your Community Polls app and unfortunately we do not provide support for the app. You need to contact the developer of the app to look into this" Any ideas? Such requirements differ from one client to another. We cannot write any genaralized email which can scan through user response. In such case you can use the events triggered by Community Surveys after a response is saved. Please see "Community Surveys - Surveys" plugin to know how you can use events. Hi there, I've been looking for a way to send reports or thank-you-mails to the users that took the survey after completing. (Even the ones that aren't registred at the site but entered an email-adress in the survey) Is there a way to do so? Maybe you can add a email-template which can read a specific field out of the survey (maybe by id or name of the field with a placeholder) and add a script that triggers an email-send-event after the survey is completed and written to the database? As soon as I know there should be already an event for the mail to the survey-owner. And in case it works: it would be very helpful if I could add other data from the survey to the mail (e.g. the surveykey or some answers that were given). Just to know: I wrote a skript that evaluates the data out of a survey and renders some charts. To show the results to the user he needs the survey-key and I haven't figured out a way to get them the key automatically. Best Regards -

I installed the new version of Community Polls in a converted 3.4.8 site having used it previously in an old version of the site on 2.5 but am having trouble getting the polls to show using the plugin: <ul><li>GNPA Officers {CONTENTPOLL ["12": POLLID]}</li><li>Board Member at Large #1 {CONTENTPOLL ["21": POLLID]}</li><li>Board Member at Large #2 {CONTENTPOLL ["26": POLLID]}</li><li>Board Member at Large #3 {CONTENTPOLL ["27": POLLID]}</li></ul> all return "undefined" for the polls. I checked the anywhere.js file and it's pointing to the correct domain. The content plugin is published and the polls have been published and show up fine. Each poll is included in a menu item as well. I've got to be doing something wrong but can't seem to spot it. Thanks for your help, Stuck -

Sure. All invitations are queued when they are sent but they are not actually sent to users. When someone visit the frontend pages, the manual cron will trigger at regular intervals and send the emails. However this can be overridden using automatic cronjobs which you can set on your server. The default sending method is manual cron.
