I suggest you to check the same hack with your template css instead. That way your updates don't have any impact. If your template can support adding custom code at the bottom of the page, you can use that to add custom style tag with this css. <style type="text/css">.ui-jce .ui-dialog {overflow: visible}</style>

I added this code and it works: .ui-jce .ui-dialog {overflow: visible} to the file every time after upgrade: /modules/mod_communityquiz/assets/communityquiz.css Doesnt work on the file: media/com_communityquiz/css/cj.quiz.min.css   So I have  to do this hack every time after upgrade? Can I overrride template?

Got it. That could be the proper way to check the permissions.

Okay, we are getting there :) the reason why I suggested changing the api was because then a lot more changes in separate files coud be skipped. If I adjust in the api so that eg the hyperlink on the avatar must be 'empty' because of acl pro-blogger, then I do not need to change content plugin, user list, mod bloggers, mod articlesuggestions and plg article suggestions :)

step 2. this needs to be coded into cjblog, correct? Yes o eg in plg content default.php add check if creator of the blog that is displayed to a guest has pro-capability rigths assigned > change nothing. If rights NOT assigned remove profile link from avatar and username and do not display about text exactly

Dear Mav, The version we are using is 4.3.6. We did not set any overrides as far as we know cause we do not know how to set them :) You have a very nice product and if you manage to link it and presen the poll into the EasySocial stream it will be much greater. Regards, Phivos Constantinou

Hi, step 1. Yes. step 2. this needs to be coded into cjblog, correct? step 3. correctI think our misunderstanding is in step 2. So the code changes are: 1 in cjblog component add acl part 2. in all files that display avatar, username and about text. The ones I summed up above. so eg in plg content default.php add check if creator of the blog that is displayed to a guest has pro-capability rigths assigned > change nothing. If rights NOT assigned remove profile link from avatar and username and do not display about text correct?

If the pro-blogger is already assigned to a special user group, there is no additional flags needed. Here are the steps, what I understand. 1. Add additional permission setting, say Pro-Capabilities2. Check for this new permission on front-end when displaying profile link or author avatar or about text3. You can give this permission to any user group. So you can create a user group "Pro-Blogger" and assign this permission to it. Hope I am clear.

No, I don't see any error. I suppose this should show all subcategories in a category right?

    January 7 at 8:21 pm

Dear Mav, We face a weird issue. In the EasySocial community component of our site there is a string that appears many times: "user" created new poll.  This appears many times and for various actions i.e. created new poll, voted on a poll e.t.c. but still the string is the same as you can see in the attached photos. 1. How can we control the language string to be different on different actions?2. Is the system designed to show a link to the poll created or voted in the user's EasySocial stream? 3. The string appears on the user's profile page from the moment that he will submit the poll i.e. before the approval and the publication of the poll. Shouldn't this appear only after the poll is approved by the administrator and be published on the website? Regards, Phivos Constantinou
